Prince George Arrives in Sydney with His Parents
Prince George arrived in Sydney today with his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, ready to start the Australian half of their tour.
The family were greeted by cheering crowds, and George was given a toy wombat. Their first destination was the Sydney Opera House, where a reception was held for them. Prince George didn’t attend the reception. They posed for photos in front of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and waved to the vast crowds.
The little Prince wore a comfortable white romper suit with blue ships embroidered on the top half. His mother, Kate, wore a sunny yellow dress with a few white squares.
The next time George will appear in public is when he will visit a zoo with his parents. William thought the sunny weather was too much for him and said “I should’ve brought my sunglasses”. At the reception in the Sydney Opera House, William said that he thought his son’s first word might be ‘bilby’, “because koala is a bit hard to pronounce”.
