Newest Swedish Royal: Leonore Lilian Maria

In a cabinet meeting held at the Royal Palace of Stockholm this afternoon, King Carl XVI Gustaf announced the name of his newborn granddaughter, the first child of Princess Madeleine and Christopher O’Neill.

The infant, born on February 20 in New York, has been named Leonore Lilian Maria.

She is a Princess of Sweden, with the additional title of Duchess of Gotland.
