Crown Prince of Jordan Joins Instagram
Following in the footsteps of his socially active mother, Queen Rania, Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah of Jordan launched his own official page on Instagram last week.
The young prince started his updates with several personal photos. Among them, two photos posted on January 30th, marking the birthday of his father, King Abdullah II, and younger brother, Prince Hashem.
Prince Hussein born in 1994 as the eldest child of King Abdullah Queen Rania. His youner siblings are Princess Iman, Princess Salma and prince Hashem. He was granted the title of Crown Prince by a royal decree issued in 2009.
Crown Prince Hussein holds the rank of first lieutenant in the Jordanian Armed Forces. He completed his secondary education at Kings Academy in Jordan and is currently studying Political Sciences at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
Since reaching the age of majority in 2012, Crown Prince Hussein had involved in several activities and inititives related to sports and youth empowerment in Jordan. He had also served as regent several times during his father’s absense in the past two years.
