Duke of Cambridge Begins 10 Week Study Course at St John’s College, Cambridge

On January 7, The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, began a 10 week course in agricultural management at St John’s College at Cambridge University.

The course is organized by The Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership. During the course, William will be participating in lectures with other PhD students, in some classes. The course has been designed to help him prepare with managing the Duchy of Cornwall estate once he inherits it from his father, The Prince of Wales.

Each week, The Duke will be given 20 hours of teaching time, which includes one-to-one tuition. The subjects that he will be taught are geography, land economy and plant sciences. It has been said that further details will be announced when William completes the course.

On his arrival at St John’s, he was greeted by Sir Leszek Borysiewicz, Professor Christian Dobson and Polly Courtice.
