Spanish Royal Family Summer Vacation 2013
Members of the Spanish Royal Family have been enjoying the annual Summer Holiday or Vacation on the Balearic Island of Mallorca.
Last week Queen Sofia accompanied by her sister, Princess Irene of Greece, arrived at the Marivent Palace in Palma de Mallorca and was later joined by Infantas Elena and Cristina and their children.
The Prince of Asturias later arrived on the island take part in the Copa del Rey yachting competition. Infanta Cristina has since departed for Barcelona, but her four children remained on the island over the weekend and the Princess of Asturias arrived with her two daughters, Infantas Leonor and Sofia.
It’s expected that King Juan Carlos will arrive at the Marivent Palace in Palma de Mallorca later today.
