Stamps to Mark Carl Gustaf’s Jubilee

Three new stamps have been released in Sweden to mark the fortieth anniversary of King Carl XVI Gustaf’s accession to the throne.

King Carl Gustaf features alone on one, his jubilee monogram on another, and with his two direct heirs – Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Estelle – on the third. The stamps have been designed by Mårten Gustafsson, with the photographs used coming from Bruno Ehrs and Kate Gabor.

Princess Estelle makes her stamp debut in the series.

The stamp sheet will become available on August 22nd.
