Victoria visits Rio de Janeiro
Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden visits Rio de Janeiro from April 1st to 4th.
The Princess will attend the seminar “Children with disabilities and an independent life” .
Ericsson will host a visit to the Grael Foundation which focuses on enabling children and young adults in need from age nine get the opportunity to learn how to sail, swim and learn seamanship with the purpose to creating a better future.
Victoria will pay a visit to the Volvo Ocean Race Village at Marina da Gloria, the Ericsson Corporate Social Responsibility Round Table, participate in Childhood Brasil Charity Luncheon and in a social function celebrating Ericsson’s 85th anniversary in Brazil at Museum of Modern Art.
On the last day the Crown Princess will sail as onboard guest on “Ericsson 4” and will hand over the trophy to the winning team at the Volvo Ocean Race In-Port race prize giving.
After these 4 official days in Rio, the crown princess and her fiancé Daniel Westling will spend a few days of holidays in Brazil.
