Queen Elizabeth II Hosts Palace Garden Party

Queen Elizabeth II hosted a garden party on the grounds of Buckingham Palace yesterday. Also present to lend a hand were the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall and the Duchess of Cambridge.

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall brought umbrellas just incase the cloudy London weather changed.

The Queen hosts a number of garden parties throughout the summer months and they have become a British Royal tradition over the past few decades. The parties, which are considered a relaxed and informal event, are indeed a highlight for royal watchers.

Earlier in the day, Her Majesty had hosted a private audience for the Croatian President, Ivo Josipovic, and his wife at the Palace.
