Spanish Royal Family Receive National Handball Team

The Spanish Royal Family received the Spanish Handball National Team at the Zarzuela Palace on Monday, February 11. Present at the reception were Their Majesties the King and Queen and the Prince and Princess of Asturias.

The Spanish team are the current world handball champions, having beating Denmark at the tournament finals on January 27th.

In a speech the King congratulated the entire team, their coaches and technical staff. His Majesty then presented the team with the Gold Medal for Sports Merit.
