Infanta Pilar Lauches the Nuevo Futuro 2012

Madrid – November 23rd

Infanta Pilar, Duchess of Badajoz launched the 2012 Rastrillo Nuevo Futuro in Madrid on November 23rd. The elder sister of King Juan Carlos I is the Honorary President of this charitable partnership, which was founded in 1968.

Earlier in the week, Infanta Pilar attended the annual press conference prior to the launch day. During the press conference, the Duchess of Badajoz also gave more information on her brother the King’s hip operation.

Attending the launch day on November 23rd were the Mayor of Madrid, Prince Louis Alfonso de Bourbon, his wife Princess Marie Marguerite, Duchess of Anjou, with their children.

The Nuevo Futuro/New Futures is a partnership dedicated to the creation and maintenance of foster homes for children deprived of the family environment (children who are orphaned or deprived).
