Royals Turn to Elie Saab For Luxembourg Wedding Gala
And the royals decided to wear Elie Saab.
Lebanese designer Elie Saab, who shows at Paris Fashion Week, dressed seven royals at one gathering. The gathering was a reception dinner celebrating the marriage of Prince Guillaume of Luxembourg and Countess Stéphanie de Lannoy.
The most important person of the evening, Countess Stéphanie, wore a full embroidered grey gown with lace inserts and a low back draping see here . Her mother-in-law, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, wore a gold embroidered gown see here.
Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece dazzled in a gold dress featured on the designer’s runway. Marie-Chantal had the dress made in full-length see here. Sequins was not the only thing from the designers collection, but also print mixed in with lace. Princess Clotilde of Savoy wore a lovely printed dress with lace inserts which was also featured on the designer’s runway see here.
Sweden’s Crown Princess was also spotted in the Saab gown which she first wore in 2010 to the Noble Peace Prize see here. Not all royals went for the couture line however, some choose to wear his ready-to-wear dresses, like Princess Astrid of Belgium see here and Princess Margaretha of Liechtenstein see here.
