Court Releases New Pictures of Estelle

In conjunction with the opening of an exhibition on her birth and christening, the Swedish Royal Court has released a series of new photographs of Princess Estelle.

The series of photographs, taken by Kate Gabor, shows the almost eight-month-old infant in the grounds of Haga Palace with her parents, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel. Wearing a cute point-hooded jacket, the infant appears content to sit and play with leaves. Her father helps to take some tentative steps around the area, while the images reveal Estelle has cut her first teeth.

‘Princess Estelle – Birth and Christening’ will open on October 19th in the Green Room of the Royal Palace of Stockholm, and will showcase the historic christening robe and various other objects used during the event. Objects from historical royal christenings will also be featured, as will footage of the Court’s preparation for the christening. The exhibition will run until March 3rd, 2013.
