Princess Eugenie Graduates From Newcastle University
Princess Eugenie attended her graduation ceremony, having been awarded 2:1 degree in English and History of Art at Newcastle. Along with fellow students and their families, the Duke of York and Princess Beatrice joined forces to support Eugenie; the Duchess of York was unable to attend the ceremony, presumably because of an operation she had to undertake.
After the ceremony, the beaming princess shared just how much she had enjoyed her time at the University: “I am so proud. Being up in Newcastle is just amazing. I had so much fun. Being in a house with seven girls was my highlight because you’d come back and there was always someone cooking, someone to welcome you. That was amazing just being in a house with all these wonderful people.”
For now, Eugenie has decided to concentrate on her charity work for the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, as well as potentially becoming a working royal.
