Prince Felipe attends Euro 2012 Final in Kiev

Kiev, Ukraine – July 1st, 2012

His Royal Highness The Prince of Asturias attended the UEFA Euro 2012 Final between Spain and Italy on Sunday in Kiev, Ukraine.

Prince Felipe joined thousands of Spanish supporters at the Olympic Stadium in Kiev to watch the match. Seated in the Royal Box with the Prince of Asturias was the Spanish Prime Minister, Mariano Rajoy ,and the Spanish Minister of Culture, Education and Sports, José Ignacio Wert.

The sensational Spanish team won a magnificent 4-0 victory over Italy and were later greeted by an ecstatic Prince Felipe as the team went to receive the trophy. The Prince later got to congratulate and speak to the Spanish team in their locker room. Prince Felipe told reporters that he believes that the Spanish team are ‘unbeatable’.
