Spanish Royal Family attend 2012 Easter Sunday Mass
Palma de Mallorca – April 8th, 2012
Members of the Spanish Royal Family attended the traditional Easter Sunday Mass at the Cathedral of Santa Maria de Palma de Mallorca earlier today.
Present this year were Their Majesties The King and Queen, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince and Princess of Asturias along with Their Royal Highnesses the Infantas Leonor, Sofia and Elena of Spain.
The Royal Family were greeted outside the Cathedral by the current president of the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands, José Ramón Bauzà, and the Bishop of Palma. The presence of the Royal family at Easter Sunday Mass is a highlight for royal watchers and this was evident by the large crowds of well-wishers who gathered outside the gothic cathedral.
As with other years, it was the little Infantas Leonor and Sofia who stole the limelight.
