Countess Alexandra at Choir Christmas Concert
Yesterday, HE Countess Alexandra stepped out to support one of her long-time patronages, the Danish National Girls Choir.
Each year, the choir – also known as the Danish Radio Girls’ Choir – puts together a Christmas concert at Copenhagen’s Concert Hall, and the Countess is usually in attendance. This year, she brought along her husband, Mr Martin Jørgensen, and her two sons, TH Prince Nikolai and Prince Felix.
Countess Alexandra wore a lovely beige and white ensemble, and spoke with the choir and their main conductor, Cecilia Martin-Löf, before the concert. The two princes and their stepfather wore velour jackets in several shades and posed happily for photos while the Countess was with the choir (I still don’t understand why Alexandra felt the need to have a pair of mustard-coloured corduroy pants in Nikolai’s wardrobe!)
The choir was one of Alexandra’s first patronages as a Princess of Denmark, and she has travelled to several countries – including Hong Kong – with them to promote their music.
