Death of the Dowager Duchess of Hohenberg, née Princess Elisabeth of Luxembourg

HRH The Dowager Duchess of Hohenberg, née Princess Elisabeth of Luxemburg, of Nassau and of Bourbon-Parma, died on 22 November 2011 aged 88.

The Duchess was the widow of HSH Franz Ferdinand, the Duke of Hohenberg, and leaves behind their 2 daughters, HSH Princess Anita of Hohenberg [who is married to Count Andreas of Bardeau] and HSH Princess Sophie of Hohenberg, [who is married to Jonkheer Jean-Louis de Potesta], 7 grandchildren, Count Gaëtan, Alix [who is married to Francois-Xavier Fraye], Count Gabriel and Count Raoul de la Poëze d’Harambure, children of Princess Anita and her first husband Romée de La Poëze, Count of Harambure, and Jonkvrouw Eleonore [who is engaged to Diego Fernandez de Cordova y Cervero], Jonkheer Charles-Louis and Jonkvrouw Elizabeth de Potesta, the children of Princess Sophie and Jonkheer Jean-Louis, and 1 great-grandson, Armel Fraye, son of Alix and François-Xavier Fraye.

The late Dowager Duchess of Hohenberg was the second child and first daughter of HRH Grand Duchess Charlotte of Luxembourg and her husband, HRH Prince Felix of Bourbon-Parma. She also leaves behind her siblings (and their families) Grand Duke Jean of Luxembourg, Princess Marie Gabriele, Countess of Holstein-Ledreborg, and Princess Alix, Dowager Princess of Ligne. Princess Marie Adalaide, Countess Henckel von Donnersmarck, and Prince Charles of Luxembourg predeceased the Dowager Duchess.
