King and Queen of Jordan begin trip to Morocco and Portugal
His Majesty King Abdullah II and Queen Rania will start today a working trip to the Kingdom of Morocco and then to Portugal.
During their visit to Morocco, King Abdullah will hold talks with the Moroccan King Mohammad VI on joint cooperation ties, Mideast developments and efforts to achieve stability, security and peace in the region.
On King Abdullah’s first official visit to Portugal which will take place on March 16-17, the King will meet with Portuguese President Anibal Cavaco Silva and Prime Minister Jose Socrates on ways to bolster Jordanian-Portuguese relations, particularly, in political, economic and trade fields. King Abdullah will meet also with Portuguese business leaders and private sector’s representatives taking part in the Jordanian Business Forum.
