Crown Princess Máxima in Rome
On Thursday October 6th, Princess Máxima was in Rome, Italy to open the Mondrian exhibition at the Complesso del Vittoriano Museum. The exibition is called “L’Armonia Perfetta” (Perfect Harmony), and shows works made by Mondrian and Dutch contemporary artists.
Piet Mondrian (1872-1944) was a Dutch pinter and one of the contributors of the neoplasticism movement, founded in 1917. At the exibition, there are 70 works of the Dutch artist. His famous works were made with primary colors and straight rectangles.
At the Complesso del Vittoriano Museum, there are also works of Mondrian’s contemporaries. The exhibition will remain open until the end of January 2012.
