Enactments & Engagements at The Zarzuela Palace
Madrid, Tuesday September 27th, 2011
His Majesty The King had a busy day at his Madrid residence, The Zarzuela Palace, on Tuesday. The day started at the Audience Hall of the Palace of Zarzuela, where His Majesty gave his signature and endorsed the amendment to Section 135 of the Spanish Constitution. Her Majesty The Queen and the Spanish Prime Minister, Jose Zapatero, were also present.
King Juan Carlos I then granted audiences at the Palace, where the King firstly recieved the President of the Comunidad Foral de Navarra, Ms Yolanda Barcina Angulo. Later, His Majesty recieved of the President of the Principality of Asturias, Francisco Álvarez-Cascos Fernández.
