Queen Rania’s School and Charitable Tour
On September 27, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah paid a visit to Aysha Al Baounieh Elementary School for Girls and the Al Amani Charitable Society, during her tour of the town Anjara in the Governorate of Ajloun in Jordan.
During the school visit, Her Majesty was welcomed by students and teachers. She also took sometime to talk with them and listen to their concerns about the school and changes they would like made. After the school visit, Queen Rania paid a short visit to the Al Amani Charitable Society, where she met with the board of directors. Queen Rania was briefed on the Society’s tasks and the services it offers to the locals. The Queen toured the society and was shown different sections, one of the areas was a kitchen that produces herbs that grow naturally in the area.
The Queen tweeted later on, “I can still smell the thyme and basil from Anjara in Ajloun! The local women are so impressive, just brimming with strength and will power.”
