Queen Paola and Princess Claire Visit Exhibition Together

Today queen Paola of the Belgians and her daughter-in-law, princess Claire, visited the exhibition ‘From van Dijck to Bellotto’ at the Palace of Fine Arts (Bozar) in Brussels. The exhibitions shows the collection of Flemish and Italian masters from the Galleria Sabauda in Turin, which was founded by the court of the house of Savoy. In 1860 the collection was donated to the Italian State.

The queen and princess Claire were received by the vice governor of Brussels, Hugo Nys, and by Paul Dujardin, director of the museum who also gave the two royals a tour of the exhibition. It is the second time in a month that queen Paola and princess Claire visited an exhibition together, last month both attended the opening of the exhibition of paintings of the Cobra movement.

The exhibion ‘From van Dijck to Bellotto will stay in the Bozar museum until 24 May. More information about the museum can be found here. And for more information on the Galleria Sabauda follow this link.
