Dutch State Visit to Germany, Day 2
On the second day of the State Visit, Queen Beatrix, Crown Prince Willem-Alexander and Crown Princess Maxima have a met with the Mayor of Berlin, Klaus Wowereit, at the Adlon Hotel.
Then the Dutch Royals visited a television tower, a building 368 metres high, at Alexanderplatz. Later in the morning Princess Maxima, along with Mrs Bettina Wulff, made a visit to the Friedensburg secondary school. They attended a lesson on finalcial education on the subject of ‘Financial Literacy’ and also they had a talk with students and teachers.
In the afternoon Queen Beatrix, Prince of Orange and Princess Maxima, accompanied by Bettina Wulff visited the “Mitmachzirkus” a circus workshop for school children in Berlin, to promote integration. Here they enjoyed a show with acrobats and acts with animals.
In the evening Queen Beatrix, Crown Prince Couple and President and Mrs Wulff attended the performance of the Dutch Royal Concert Orchestra at the Berlin Philharmonic.
