Dutch Official Visit to Vietnam, Day 3

On March 30 Crown Prince Willem-Alexander and Crown Princess Maxima started their visit in Ho Chi Min City.

In the morning, the Prince of Orange visited the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, where cooperation agreements between the municipalities of Rotterdam and Ho Chi Minh City and the CBI (Centre for Promotion of Imports from developing countries) and VEXA (Association Vietnamese exporters) have been signed.

Afterwards, Prince Willem-Alexander visited organizations involved in infrastructure and water transport. He also visited the Bitexco Tower (city views), University STC (training in navigation / maritime), Saigon New Port (new transhipment port) and has made a boat trip along the Dong Nai River.

Crown Princess Maxima, along with the State Secretary Henk Bleker, paid a visit to various successful Dutch companies in Vietnam: FrieslandCampina (Model Farm), Nedspice (processing spices) and she opened a new warehouse of De Heus Feed, a large producer of pig feed.

In the afternoon, Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Maxima attended a networking reception at the Reunification Palace for the Dutch business delegation and host community. A number of agreements were signed.
