Dutch Official Visit to Vietnam, Day 2

On the 2nd day of their four-day visit to Vietnam, Prince Willem-Alexander attended a seminar “Port of Rotterdam”, where the Port of Rotterdam presented their business model to Vietnamese authorities.

Then the Prince of Orange and Mr Atsma, State Secretary for Infrastructure and Environment, were present at the meeting on climate change and water management. Afterwards, Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Maxima visited the Temple of Literature, formerly the oldest university in Vietnam and now one of the most important historical buildings in Hanoi. This monument has its origin in 1076.

The Crown Princely Couple had a meeting with Vietnamese students who have studied in the Netherlands and with Dutch people living in Vietnam.

Also, in the afternoon, Princess Maxima had a meeting with some Vietnamese authorities and attended a seminar on Financial Inclusion, which talks about access to financial services in Vietnam.

At the end of the day, the Crown Princely Couple, along with their delegations and Dutch businessmen, left Hanoi to flight to Ho Chi Minh City, where tomorrow they will start the last two days of the visit.
