Toddler gets a royal lift
Two year old Bronwen Giles of North Wales suprised Prince Charles on his recent tour of RAF Valley by demanding that he pick her up so she could show him pictures of the other children who attend the creche run by her mother. Earlier, she and her four year old sister had delighted him with a much practiced curtsey in honor of his visit.
Prince Charles was visiting RAF Valley, Anglesey which is where Prince William will be trained to fly SAR missions. During his time there, he also saw a new Hawk aircraft and met families of RAF servicemen and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Prince William is currently training as a rescue pilot and upon his arrival at Valley, he will be taught how to hover the aircraft whilst winching a man on a wire out of the aircraft overland, over water, over boats and alongside cliffs and in the mountains.
After his visit at Valley, Prince Charles was to continue to the Sharp Manufacturing Co factory, a producer of solar panels and microwave ovens, before visiting the village of Froncysyllte in Clwyd, winner of the Calor Village of The Year in 2008.
