British Royal January and February Events
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh Current Events;
January 9th; The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh attended a Sunday church service at St Mary Magdalene church on the royal estate at Sandringham in Norfolk.
January 16th; Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip attended a church service at Hillington Parish Church, Norfolk, Britain.
January 20th; Queen Elizabeth has made her annual visit to The Sandringham Women’s Institute, at West Newton Church Hall, near Sandringham, Norfolk today. The Queen is a member and President of Sandringham WI.
January 29th; It was announced that Elizabeth and Philip would travel to Australia for Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in October.
February 2nd; Queen Elizabeth II and The Duke of Edinburgh visited Kings Lynn, Norfolk.
February 6th; Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh attended the Sunday church service at St Peter and St Pauls Church in West Newton, Norfolk to mark the 59th anniversary of the Queen’s accession.
February 10th; Queen Elizabeth received His Excellency Mr Hernan A. Couturier, the Ambassador of Peru, and His Excellency Mr Garvin Nicholas, the High Commissioner of Trinidad and Tobago, during private meetings at Buckingham Palace.
February 15th; Queen Elizabeth received Mrs Baktygul Kalambekova, Ambassador of The Kyrgyz Republic, and Mr Amar Abba, The Ambassador of Algeria, during audiences at Buckingham Palace, London.
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall Current Events;
January 20th; The Duchess of Cornwall visited the Children’s Reading Bus at King’s College, University of Aberdeen, where she met children and staff involved with this reading skills project.
January 25th; The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall attended several events in the East Midlands. The first visit was to The School of Artisan Food in Welbeck.
January 26th; Prince Charles and Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall attended the Australia Day celebrations at Australia House. Australia Day is the official national day of Australia. It is celebrated with a public holiday for all the States and Territories on the 26th January.
January 28th; Prince Charles presented  Afghanistan Service Medals to Gurkhas.
January 31st; Prince Charles attended the world premiere of “The Arch of Enlightenment” at the Curzon Mayfair cinema. The film is a television documentary on the restoration of South Korea’s national monument, the Gwanghwamun Arch.
February 4th; The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall were in Northern Ireland for an official one-day visit. They visited the Mercian Regiment 2nd Battalion at their base in Palace Barrack, a church and a library visit were also parts of the programme.
February 7th; The Prince of Wales met soldiers from The 3rd Battalion, The Mercian Regiment (Staffords), who are training on Salisbury Plain as they prepare to deploy on operations to Afghanistan next month.
February 7th; The Duchess of Cornwall was in Wiltshire. She visited The King’s Rise Children’s Centre, Apetito Ltd, Trowbridge and the Wiltshire Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers, St. Mary’s School.
February 8th; Prince Charles attended an investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace, London. In the evening he attended a fund-raising gala dinner supported by representatives from Zimbabwean charities at Claridge’s.
February 9th; Prince Charles visited the EU Institutions. At the European Parliament he attended the “Low Carbon Economy” conference.
February 10th; The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall hosted a reception in recognition of police family liaison officers at Clarence House, London.
February 11th; The Duchess of Cornwall and the Prince of Wales met members of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Regiment and their families at Vauxhall Barracks in Didcot, Oxfordshire. The regiment is a specialist unit responsible for bomb and explosive ordnance disposal.
February 15th; Prince Charles attended a memorial service for Australian soprano Joan Sutherland at Westminster Abbey in London. Joan Sutherland died aged 83 in October 2010.
