Qatar Emir & Sheikha Mozah visit Austria

The Emir of Qatar and his wife, Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser al-Misnad, started an official 3-day visit to Austria. Sheikh Hamad and Sheikha Mozah met with with President Heinz Fischer and his wife. Upon arrival to the palace, Sheikh Hamad and the Austrian President reviewed the honor guard during the welcome ceremony in front of the Hofburg palace in Vienna. The two leaders held talks and a number of agreements were signed. While the two leaders were holiding their talks, Margrit Ficher showed Sheikha Mozaha around the Imperial Treasury and the National Library at Hofburg Palace.

According to reports, the couple are scheduled to visit a number of medical research centers and attend the Vienna Philharmonic’s New Year’s concert on January 1.
