Crown Princess Mette Marit’s Style in New York
On October 28th and 29th, Norway’s Crown Princely Couple visited New York City for the 100th jubilee of “The American-Scandinavian Foundation”. From the fashion point of view, Crown Princess Mette Marit vividly demonstrated once again that Valentino, one of her preferred designers, becomes her very well.
When Crown Princess Mette Marit arrived for a seminar at the International Peace Institute, she was wearing a classic light beige skirt suit which she had matched with nude-colored high heels by Christian Louboutin.
On day two, the Crown Princess of Norway went for a lovely ruffled and pale pink Valentino jacket and a beige skirt while visiting the exibition “Nordic Models+Common Ground” at Scandinavia House. As a striking eye-catcher, she chose studded T-bar lizard pumps by Valentino to complete the look.
Later that day, the Crown Princely Couple continued their official visit to New York, attending a gala banquet at The Plaza Hotel. For this occasion, the Princess appeared all dressed up in a floor-length, printed black and grey gown, also designed by Valentino (from the Spring 2010 Collection). A lovely pair of drop earrings and her “Valentino Fairy Tale Sandals” completed the exquisite look.
