Prince Christian Celebrates 5th Birthday

On the 15th of October His Royal Highness Prince Christian of Denmark celebrated his 5th birthday. Born to a 21 gun saute back in 2005, Christian was loved by the nation from the start.

So how does a young royal celebrate his half decade? With his family and friends like any other child. Christian’s kindergarten friends arrived at The Chancellory House at around 10 am and enjoyed treats such as a treasure hunt, pizza and lemonade.

Other important guests included his cousins Princes Nikolai and Felix, as well as grandparents Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik. The Prince Consort was greeted ethusiastically by Christian and younger sister Princess Isabella (3).

Photos of Christian were also released to mark the special occasion. Franne Voigt photographed Christian at home and said that Christian and his sister were children that his parents could be proud of.

On leaving the party, Prince Henrik commented that the young prince had had a good birthday and was enjoying his presents.
