Busy Weekend for Young Belgian Royals
On Saturday 23 October, Princess Elisabeth of Belgium, daughter of Crown Prince Philippe and Crown Princess Mathilde, was present at University of Leuven.
Elisabeth, together with her classmates, has attended a lesson about the functioning of the brain in the context of the educational programm for young students: “Children’s University”. This lesson was directed to children between 8 and 13 years old and the students have the opportunity to ask questions to professors. “Children’s University” has reached its sixth edition.

On Sunday 24 October, Prince Laurent and Princess Claire along with their three children, Princess Louise and the twins Prince Nicolas and Prince Aymeric, attended the world premiere of the musical “Fantasia” in Mechelen.
“Fantasia” is a new musical by Geronimo Stilton and is a fun show for the whole family. Geronimo Stilton is a best-selling children’s book series. In the books Geronimo Stilton works as a journalist for the fictional newspaper “The Rodent’s Gazette”. The series originated in Italy and has become the most popular children’s book series. The books have been translated into 35 languages. The book “Fantasia” was recentely voted by the children as the most beautiful book.
