The Crown Princely Couple’s Visit to Aust-Agder

From August 31st to September 2nd Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit payed their country visit to Aust-Agder where they visited the municipalities of Evje and Hornnes, Grimstad, Froland, Arendal, Vegårshei and Gjerstad.

Duing their first day in Lillesand, Evje and Hornnes the couple went to see the Setesdal Mineral Park, a clinic and a prison. Laterthe couple visited the University of Agder, Kristiansand Campus. Here they used bikes to get from the campus to center of Grimstad.

During the second day the Crown Princely couple visited Arendal and Froland where they, among others, attended the Folk festival in Arendal. You can read more about the second day here.

On their last day the Crown Prince and Crown Princess visited the Vegårshei and Gjerstad municipalities. They were given a tour in the Bioenergy in Vegårshei by Chairman Åsulv Løvland, attended a festival in Vegårshei Hall and visited the Abel County middle school.
