Saudi King to visit Canada, US & France

King Abdullah Al Saud is said to attend the G20 summit in Canada, which will be followed by a working trip to Washington and Paris. In Washington DC, King Abdullah is scheduled to meet with President Obama on June 29 at the White house.

“Obama looks forward to discussing with King Abdullah the strengthening of bilateral ties between the United States and Saudi Arabia as well as a range of common concerns related to Gulf Security, peace in the Middle East, and other regional and global matters,” White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said.

After Washington, King Abdullah will visit Paris where he will be the foreign guest of honor at the 14th of July Bastille Day celebrations after an invitation from French President Nicolas Sarkozy. King Abdullah is also scheduled to open the exhibit of Saudi archaeological artifacts at the Louvre museum that opens July 16.
