Sheikha Mozah opens CMU-Q Campus

Feb 22, 2009 – Emir HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and HH Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned, chairperson of the Qatar Foundation officially opened the Carnegie Mellon University – Qatar (CMU-Q).

Sheikha Mozah, along with the CMU-Q student body, CMU-Q dean Charles Thorpe and Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) president Jared Cohon, cut the ceremonial ribbon onstage.

The Emir & Sheikha Mozah honoured guests that had gathered at the Education City’s Ceremonial Court for talks, speeches, music and food for the great celebration of the inauguration of the building.
