The Christening of the littlest Van Vollenhoven
The youngest member of the Van Vollenhoven family, Eliane, was christened yesterday, March 28th, at the Chapel of Het Loo Palace.
There was quite the Orange turnout for the christening, with all members of Queen Beatrix and Princess Margriet’s families present (except for Princess Catharina-Amalia, Princess Laurentien, Isabella and Pieter van Vollenhoven). Also in attendance were Prince Carlos of Bourbon-Parma and his fiancée, Annemarie Gualtherie van Weezel, and his siblings Princess Maria Carolina and Prince Jaime (who brought along Paulette van Ommen, who is rumoured to be his girlfriend). Princess Margarita’s husband, Tjalling ten Cate, was also there with the couple’s daughter Julia.
Prince Floris and Princess Aimée, who also have an elder daughter Magali, chose Prince Maurits of Orange-Nassau, Princess Maria Carolina of Bourbon-Parma, Hans Söhngen and Ike de Rooij-van Haaren as Eliane’s godparents.
