Abu Dhabi CP holds talks in the United States
HH Gen. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, arrived in Washington DC to hold talks with US President Barak Obama, senior White House advisers, cabinet secretaries, Congressional leaders as well as a few senior US government officials.
Sheikh Mohammed met with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and held talks on varioues subjects such as peaceful resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, improving stability in the region and the US-UAE Bilateral Agreement for Peaceful Nuclear Cooperation. The Crown Prince also met that day with Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner, Secretary of Energy Steven Chu, National Security Advisor Gen. Jim Jones and Members of Congress.
Accompanying Sheikh Mohammed to the meetings is UAE Foreign Minister HH Sheikh Abdulla bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to the United States.
