Abu Dhabi CP meets with UAE Wheelchair Athletics Team

General H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces met with the members of the UAE wheelchair athletics team who won a silver and two bronze medals during the IWAS World Junior Athletics Championships which was held recently in Nottwil, Switzerland.

Sheikh Mohammed said to the team “Your determination and keen desire for winning helped you in making this achievement. The country’s paralympic teams have come of age. They are playing a vital role in enhancing the country’s image.” Sheikh Mohammed also praised the team’s successful participation in the event,thanks to the great support given by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
