The son of Mette-Marit's brother Per Høiby, Joachim Høiby married Charlotte Bolme at Akershus Castle Church on the fortress in Oslo. The whole Høiby family was obviously present and Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit and Marius Borg Hoiby were guest of honour.

Haakonand Mette-Marit use to be my favourite royal couple but I haven't been following them a lot lately for various reasons but i've noticed quite a few negative reports about them recently, Mette-Marit reciving free gifts and haakon visiting the makers of cluster bombs?! I don't know if I've rad these wrong and they are not as bad as they seem but they sound bad to me and I'm very surprised

Thanks fairy tale for the wonderful pics. I just love seeing Mette Marit with her mother:wub: they seem so very close to each other and and Mette Marit probably appreciates her very much:flowers:

As I haven´t been here for quite some time,
have they been in the Caribbeean over new Year?

Last week, Norad (Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation) launched a knowledge contest "NM i bistand" ('Championship in aid') over a period of 7 weeks directed at the youth (all the country's secondary schools are invited to participate), and has been joined by the CP Couple.

Could be a free day or could be that she just missed that day. It's not like she is at events every week so im sure the school has no issues with it.

Yes, it still seems to be the habit in the scandinavian countries, especially Norway and Denmark. Totally unthinkable in Germany where most children are totally bad behaved (which isn´t their fault but their parents!)

Thanks for this post, we can be happy that everything is ok with the CP-couple. MM seems to be a little bit weak. Is there usual to post pictures about the board meeting? I don't remember from earlier, but maybe it is not random(involuntary) now. :whistling:
