Who's that lady behind Princess Christina?

Queen Silvia's lady-in-waiting baroness Christina von Schwerin (80).

Victoria and Daniel attended on Saturday 9th December at the Bernadotte Library the recording of "Nobel Minds", a round-table discussion with some of the Nobel Prize Laureates. Nobel Minds is a production of Swedish Television SVT and BBC World News. SVT shows the Nobel Minds with a name "Snillen spekulerar" this evening at SVT2 and has published the program already now at SVT Play.

This is a very interesting discussion. I have to watch the whole program later again.

The King and Queen were interviewed by Anders Pihlblad for TV4 on 9th December about the Nobel Prize ceremonies. It's a quite long interview, 11 minutes.
"Tomorrow the Nobel festivities will begin and the king will present the prize for the 51st time. In a unique interview with the king and queen, they reflect on the meaning of the award. - It means an enormous amount, both for Sweden, but also for research as such and for the research world around it, says the king. Also hear how Queen Silvia thinks when she has to choose a dress for the party of parties!"

Queen Silvia says that because the Nobel Prize ceremony is in the winter, she tries to choose a little warmer outfit. Both speak about how much the Nobel Prize means for Sweden and that when they visit abroad, it is always discussed. With the Laureates they speak about everything: Sweden, the Laureates work and interests, families and so on.

The Nobel Prize published photos of the royals at the banquet at its website:

So only 1 female recipient this year (litterature prize) 🤔

Surely there must have been some female researcher, doctor or econom that has made something worthy of a nobel prize 🤔 But i’m not surprised sadly
