Todays paper announces that PAs advisor will leave MC april 10th. He gave a very interesting interview (including some remarks on PAs leadership), which I will post in translation later.

Well, considering that no one would talk bad about the reigning prince, I think it is pretty critical. You have to read between the lines and to outsiders it might be a pretty harmless interview, but when you know a bit about how things are done here, I think that it is fairly open criticism of PA. As I said I will give you a translation later, when I have more quiet time to do so. I am also not quite sure whether this has been a decision that was anticipated or short notice. He is leaving april 10th and no successor has been appointed yet, so I suppose it is fairly short notice. But as I said I am not sure about this. Details later.

Don't you think that PA's behavior lately looks (as british might say) "quite erratic". It does not have a common sense thread to it, it's weird to describe. I hope the trip to the Artic will cool him off and allow him to think better.

makes one wonder when is he ever here and doing his job. One pleasure trip after the other and summer holidays haven't even started yet...(another 2 months of not working)

Perhaps, the North Pole excursion will permit him to really think about his life, what he wants to change and what he wants to hold on to?

Then, possibly, if he is to go, the safari after will be the time for him to really assess how CW would fit into his life. It will allow them to spend time somewhat alone and without all the trappings of fame and fortune to cloud the quality of their time together.

This past year has likely been one of Albert's hardest ever. I feel for him, and hope his mind is clear, his health is strong, and his heart, if not full, is content.

He has to undergo an operation today. There is a zyst that has to be removed and therefor he will be put under complete anesthesia.

Thanks for the additional information regarding PA. The article I read today did not go into detail. It only mentioned the Prince was going into the hospital for a minor procedure.

I wish PA a speedy recovery so he can resume his duties.

Some people skip threads with specific titles. It fits under many subjects. Its current to PA, Monaco and I forget the third thread I saw it under...

Albert having been under anthesia, although it was light and for a short time, is/was a big deal. Should it occur again, especially for something serious, Caroline would need to be in contact in case she had to step in and be regent as Albert was in the week before Rainier's death.

NO, unless you call a dinner or a ball working. And he said himself that he doesn't get up before 8 in the morning (I think it was in the Welt interview). Maybe that's why he didn't marry so far, because he would have to get up earlier if he wanted to see the kids before school in the morning

I don't know if the people from the palace are reading this or some enemies of the palace are reading this, but, it's just weird. Last night someone posted that old prediction of "how Al's wife will be" like everywhere (it got cleaned), now there is another entry yet in spanish for the ones who don't spanish SAS goes for Su Alteza Serenisima the same as to His Serene Highness. Then the Jazmin thread goes up again, and a thread to distinguish PA's accomplishment and on and on and on

I know it's getting hot down here in Florida but I'm going bananas now?

Does anybody else gets the same image im getting?

Well, I can't talk for the other posters, but the thread I opened was to focus more on what he is actually doing. I found that basically every thread regarding PA was cluttered with rumours and speculation about CW and I simply found that annoying. He made a speech about what he set out to achieve and I wanted to know what he has done about it. It is not meant as promotion or bashing, just collecting facts and discussing those and talking about what cold or should have been done. With all this talk about CW I was feeling more and more frustrated because there are so many important issues to be handled in MC and I had the impression that not only people on this board, but also PA himself was more interested in his private life rather then running MC. That was basically my motives. Don't know about the others.

Oh no Paca,what i tried to say was that the fact that a accomplishment's thread has to be open is a good sign that not everything is about private stuff, because everything else was drawning the image of PA.
