Two Exhibitions For One Princess!
Her Royal Highness Princess Maria of Romania has viewed two exhibitions this week.
On Tuesday, the Princess visited the National Theatre in Bucharest where a photographic exhibition is currently on show entitled “King Michael, A Happy Childhood”, with a number of previously unpublished images of the princess’s father, King Mihai I. The photos all come from three different sources: the photographer Joseph Berman, the Royal House’s own archives and the Romanian Academy Library.

Wearing a striking yellow and red dress with a watercolour-inspired floral pattern, Princess Maria met, amongst others, the director of the National Theatre in Bucharest, the President of the Romanian Cultural Institute and the Chairman of “Romania Cultural”.
The following day, Princess Maria visited the Cotroceni National Museum to see an exhibition on the Great War, which commemorates 100 years since Romania entered the First World War. A variety of original documents and a number of photographs were on display.
