The engagement was announced between Princess Beatrice Elizabeth Mary of York (b.8 August 1988) [elder of two daughters of Prince Andrew of Great Britain, Duke of York (b.1960) & his former wife Sarah Margaret Ferguson (b.1959)] & Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi (b.1 November 1983) [son of Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi (b.1951) & his former wife Nicola "Nikki" Burrows, now Mrs. Williams-Ellis (b.1956)] on 26 September; they are going to marry next year.
Edoardo has already a son Christopher Wolf "Wolfie" (three) from a previous relationship with Dara Huang.

Beatrice's only sister, Princess Eugenie Victoria Helena (b.21 March 1990) & her husband Jack Christopher Stamp Brooksbank (b.3 May 1986) will celebrate their 1st Wedding Anniversary on 12 October.

A double engagement! Both daughters of Prince Nikolaus of Liechtenstein (*1947) and Princess Margaretha of Luxembourg (*1957) got engaged last year.

Princess Maria Anunciata of Liechtenstein (*1985) is engaged to Carlo Emanuele Musini (*1979).

Her younger sister Princess Marie-Astrid of Liechtenstein (*1987) is engaged to Ralph Worthington (*1985).

Their younger brother Josef-Emmanuel (*1989) is single, while their older brother Leopold (1984) died in infancy.

What good news! Will they get married this year?

A bit on Marie Astrid and her fiancé. Speculation they got engaged in June. But no confirmation when they will marry.

Bright & Beautiful: Engaged: Astrid of Liechtenstein & Rafe Worthington

Interesting the author knows that Marie-Astrid is "also wealthy enough to never have to work one day in her life" and also knows that "American Ralph Worthington V (34) isn't the pious & titled European aristo Astrid's parents had in mind for her".

Speculation after speculation.

I can't find a confirmation of both engagements
Is it true or just rumours?

I have not seen any communiqué about these engagements. Would be helpful as someone has a link to such information from the couple, the parents or from Schloss Vaduz.

As for Astrid and Rafe, it isn't of course an official confirmation, but back in August 2019 Marlene Koenig in her blog reported that they got engaged in the previous month of June (a news she learnt from "a very informative source"); see:
https://royalmusingsblogspotcom.blogspot.com/2019/08/princess-marie-astrid-of-liechtenstein.html
And a few days ago she posted the scan of the Christmas card she got from Prince Nikolaus and Princess Margaretha, Anunciata and Emanuele, Astrid and Rafe, Josef: https://royalmusingsblogspotcom.blogspot.com/2020/02/more-mail-call-from-christmas-and-other.html
So it's most likely that the engagement really took place, although it wasn't officially announced.

That sounds like something serious indeed, to be mentioned on the family card. Maybe the family is very attached to discretion and that is why the news is quite restraint and coming via-via.

After all: even a Christmas card is not really a formal announcement of a happy event to come... Anyway, if engaged: many happy wishes to the couples!

Princess Anastasia of Greece and Denamrk, nee Stewart(1878-1923), before her wedding to Prince Christopher of Greece was married to George Ely Worthington, son of Ralph Worthington (who was a son of George Worthington, a major Cleveland industrialist).

Is this Ralph Worthington somehow connected to this family? Based on name he has, it seems he is, but I can't figure out.

Any help finding the answer?

The same counts for Anunciata and Emanuele Musini

Ralph Worthington V is the grandson of Ralph Worthington III who was the much younger half-brother of George Ely Worthington.

Ralph Worthington (1841-1925) m. (1) Helen Harman Ely (1852-1909)
|
George Ely Worthington (1872-1950) m. (1) May Stewart (later Princess Anastasia of Greece) (divorced)

Ralph Worthington (1841-1925) m. (2) Ethel Burdette (1882-1951)
|
Ralph Worthington III (1916-1981) m. Margaret Carleton Talmadge (1921-2012)
|
Ralph Worthington IV (b. 1945) m. Lucinda Earle Morrisey (divorced)
|
Ralph "Rafe" Worthington V (b. 1985)

Thank you for your answer. :)

So, Ralph Worthington V is to be married to Princess Marie Astrid of Liechtenstein, while his great uncle George Ely Worthington was first husband of Princess Anastasia of Greece!

Genealogy of this family can be found here thanks to Burke's "Landed Gentry of Great Britain":

https://archive.org/stream/genealogyofworth00wort/genealogyofworth00wort_djvu.txt

So, it's not like Worthington family doesn't have any "aristo" connections.

Is Ralph Worthington related to the family in Truro, Cape Cod?
There, in 2002 a female member of the family who had worked as famous Journalist was murdered at the age of 46, leaving a two year old daughter behind

:previous: I remember reading about that, it was awful.
