Who is Princess Marijke?

Princess Christina was named Marijke untill her xth birthday when she decided to change her name (her baptism name is Maria-Christina)

And I agree, I 'feel' the love to, and she does miss him terribly. A friend recently said that she still can not talk about him without crying.

How many gowns does the dutch royal family have ? Do all the children use the same one or are there different ones ?

I gather they have several baptism gowns.

The main line seems to use the most significant one, of 1.80 meters, first used by Queen Wilhelmina. Juliana, Beatrix, Christina, Willem-Alexander, Constantijn, Catharina-Amalia and Alexia seem to have been baptised in that gown.
From comparing the gowns it seems that the one that was used for Margriet in Ottawa was also used for her sons.

Luana got a new gown, from Viktor and Rolf (which will probably also be used for her sister Zaria)
The children of Constantijn and Laurentien have another gown, which seems older.

So does anybody have information about the godchildren of members of the RF?
I only can come up with a few,
HM Queen Beatrix is godmother to CP Victoria of Sweden, to one of the great-grandchildren of Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone (Katherine Abel-Smith) and to the daughter of Lady Anson.

The Prince of Orange is godfather to a daughter of Count Clemens of Waldburg-Zeil Hohenhems (Countess Leonie I believe)

Princess Maxima is a godmother to Prince Sverre of Norway

Princess Laurentien is a godmother to Leah Isodorah Behn

That is unknown. They usually release information about that a few days before the actual christening.
I assume it will be done at the chapel of Palace Het Loo in Apeldoorn though. I believe most grandchildren of Pieter and Margriet have been baptised there.

I recently read somewhere that Queen Mary of GB is one of the godparents of Princess Margriet. Does anybody know if this is true? And does anybody know if Grand Duchess Charlotte of Luxembourg was a godmother to Princess Marijke/Christina?

I saw that too,was on one of those blogs I think,but it is not correct.
QM was definately not a godmother to Margriet,her brother Francis of Teck,the then Governor-General of Canada and married to
Princess Alice,full cousin to Queen Wilhelmina,was.Princess Margriet Franciska had the entire merchant fleet as a godparent.

Princess Christina had,ao,Sir Winston Churchill as a godparent,not quite sure of GD C was among them,but think saw a picture
once with her there.

Well, I read it in an old newsletter from TRF from 2005, so there must be several sources that claim that Queen Mary was a godmother, I didn´t know she had Alge too, but I heard about Martha of Norway, Pres. Roosevelt and the Merchant Fleet before.

Well, of you go to page 1 of this thread you can see two pictures of Charlotte at the baptism of Marijke But it doesn´t necessairily mean she was a godmother of course as this was the time of strong Benelux cooperation.
