Princess Maria of Romania Celebrates Children’s Day!

Her Royal Highness Princess Maria of Romania helped celebrate Children’s Day in style today by visiting a school in Bucharest and helping to make it a day to remember for all the children.

The children of Ferdinand I Secondary School greeted the Princess with great excitement and hugs and presenting their royal visitor with a beautiful bouquet of roses and lilies.

After looking around the school, Princess Maria watched a play written and performed by the some of the older students and afterwards saw the younger children take part in a sports competition. The Princess, who was immaculately dressed in a crisp white blouse and summery striped skirt, handed out special prizes for the competition winners!
